Noise

Noise refers to random, non-pitched sound that contains a wide range of frequencies. It’s often used in sound design to add texture, warmth, or complexity to sounds. Noise comes in different “colors,” which represent the frequency content of the sound. Examples include white noise, which has equal energy at all frequencies, and pink noise, which has equal energy per octave. Each color of noise has its own unique characteristics and applications in music production and sound design.
