MIDI

MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. It’s a technical standard that allows electronic musical instruments, computers, and other equipment to sync up and talk with each other. MIDI doesn’t actually transmit audio signals; instead, it sends data about things like note information, pitch, velocity, and more. It’s the backbone of modern music production, connecting hardware and software to make magic happen.
